Job Description
Overview
The Welder I is responsible for fabricating and welding metal structures and components to create finished products according to specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret weld symbols on technical drawings and blueprints.
- Configure welding machines and equipment.
- Perform welding operations using MIG welding techniques to conform to specified dimensions.
- Ensure all welds are complete and meet required quality standards.
- Repair bad welds as necessary.
