Overview

The position of PIPEFITTER is available at PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF, located in Garden Island, Australia. The role involves assembling, repairing, and testing various piping systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, test, and certify oxygen hoses, manifolds, and components.
• Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test water and steam condensate pumps.
• Lay out cutting, bending, fabrication, filling, cleaning, and chlorinating equipment for temporary services piping.
• Use templates, targets, and/or mock-up assemblies.
• Perform brazing operations and test/install safety control devices.
• Provide temporary services for nuclear and non-nuclear facilities, including dry docks, piers, and buildings.
• Test systems and equipment for proper pressure, leak-free joints, and operation.
