Overview

We are seeking an experienced certified welder to join our dynamic team at Conexwest. The ideal candidate must possess the skills to weld components in various positions and prioritize safety while performing tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Plan details of work order procedures and gather required tools and materials.
  • Repair and fabricate various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques.
  • Monitor the welding, burning, and fitting process to prevent overheating or damage.
  • Prepare, assemble, and tack weld parts and surfaces.
  • Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and the work area.
  • Notify supervisor of faulty equipment or defective materials.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be Certified.
  • Thorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding.
  • Basic understanding of design techniques and tools for producing technical plans.
  • Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments.
  • Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments.
