CTR Group is seeking experienced MIG TIG Welders in the Bremerton, WA area to work in a Shipyard environment. Traveler's Welcome! POSITION DEMANDS (Education/Training/Experience)High School diploma or equivalent education.Minimum of 5 years of related experience, with at least two years being NAVSEA-related experience.Possesses standard tools for a welder.Able to work different shifts.Must have good knowledge of ship board spaces.Must have knowledge of weld symbols and general DWGs.Must pass FCAW, 2G, 3G & 4G 71T1 .045 wire.Must pass SMAW, 6G Pipe, 11018 “stick”.Must pass SMAW, 6G Pipe, 309 “stick”.Must pass GMAW, 2G, 3G & 4G aluminum 5000 & 6000 series.Must pass GTAW, 2G, 3G & 4G aluminum 5000 & 6000 series.Must pass GTAW, 4F & 5F RN67(CUNI).Must pass GTAW, 4F & 5F 316 (Stainless Steel).Must pass GTAW, 4F & 5F 70S2 (Carbon Steel).Must pass GTAW, 6G RN625 on Carbon Steel pipe (open root).Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Must be able to safely hook up and operate a torch.Must have knowledge of WAFsMust be able to follow instructions and work well with others.Ability to gain access to local bases. What you'll be running
