The Field Service Specialist role involves delivering exceptional customer service through onsite mobile repairs at customer facilities, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete, perform, and maintain the Field Service Apprentice job functions.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Meet the requirements and pass CFRS’ welding procedures.
• Knowledge of AAR Job Codes and associated data field requirements.
• Properly use AAR Rule 1 and various inspection gages.
• Perform trouble-shooting diagnostics at customer locations based on defect symptoms reported.
• Document training to set up and operate or drive equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
• Wear PPE in appropriate areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Successfully pass specified courses with an 80% or higher score.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and shop operating systems.
• Ability to deliver high level of customer service via phone and face-to-face interaction.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret general business documents in English.
• Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Additional Information

• Work assignments involve physical activities such as standing, bending, and climbing.
• Ability to operate welding equipment and heavy machinery.
• Required valid driver’s license and ability to travel within a 200-mile region.
