Overview

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Senior is responsible for assembling Electro-Mechanical assemblies by interpreting blueprints and engineering specifications, supporting the manufacturing of space flight sub-systems and support equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble Electro-Mechanical assemblies of printed circuit board assemblies into product chassis.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications for assembly.
  • Test Electro-Mechanical assemblies using various electronics equipment.
  • Use precision calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Perform visual inspections of assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Document non-conformances and associated rework or repair.
  • Solder and rework through-hole and SMT components.
  • Mix and apply conformal coat, masking, epoxies, and polyurethane coatings.
  • Meet necessary certification requirements.
  • Perform incidental related duties as assigned.

  • 1st and 2nd shift open.
  • Pay ranges from $22-$47/hr based on experience.
