The Associate Fabricator role involves fabricating orthoses and prostheses, ensuring quality and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices according to company quality and quantity standards.
• Assist or perform in ordering, receiving, and other inventory tasks as assigned.
• Maintain 5s to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
• Follow all HIPAA and other regulatory compliance training issued by Hanger, Inc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; no experience required.
• Preferred: less than 1 year of related experience in environments with machinery, tools, woodworking, design, fabrication, componentry, etc.
• Without diploma/GED, 1 year of related experience in O&P environments with machinery, tools, design, fabrication, componentry, etc.
• Knowledge and hand skills needed to fabricate and repair prostheses and orthoses according to specifications.
• Mechanical ability and hand-eye coordination to use laboratory tools safely and effectively.
• Effective organizational, time management, and planning skills.
• Good interpersonal and verbal skills for communicating with others.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
