Overview

Signit Inc DBA FASTSIGNS is hiring for a full-time Fabricator Trainee to join their team for a new career opportunity, offering competitive pay and ongoing training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare substrates for application to include cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning.
• Learn to operate and maintain tools and machinery.
• Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and proofing for errors or unacceptable standards.
• Learn and perform finishing operations such as electrical lighting standards per NEC Code.
• Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.

Requirements

• Available to work 5 days full time and eager to learn new skills and production techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more).
• Ability to lift 50 or reasonable pounds and willing to ask for help when needed.
• Flexibility to lean over when needed to perform job skills.
• Ability to work under pressure to complete work assignments timely.
• Desire to learn proper use of power equipment.
