Overview

The Electro Mechanic (EMMC) is an hourly position responsible for the reliability, performance, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical devices in the plant. This role involves preventive and predictive maintenance, ensuring safety and quality while optimizing plant efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, accident-free work environment.
  • Utilize machines and equipment for tasks like precision alignment and predictive maintenance.
  • Ensure availability of required items and inventory.
  • Provide support and leadership to other employees in maintenance tasks.
  • Plan and perform operational maintenance, including lubrication.
  • Act as a trainer for production and apprentice personnel.
  • Assist with developmental and experimental projects.
  • Utilize computer expertise to manage data and complete records.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the area.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have strong internal and external customer service skills.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must have basic mathematical calculation skills.
  • Must possess PC operational skills.
  • Must have the skill level and experience of an Electro Mechanic.

Additional Information

  • Training shift is Monday-Friday for the first 90 days from 7am-3:30pm.
  • After training, the schedule is 3 days on, 3 days off with shifts awarded based on seniority.
