Overview

As a Welder Advanced Level 3 at Honeywell, you will perform advanced welding tasks requiring high skill and precision, fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This role is crucial for maintaining the quality and reliability of products in the manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including welding machines, torches, and other hand tools.
  • Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • 5 years in heavy industrial/manufacturing environment performing welding and pipefitting tasks or 1 year heavy manufacturing welding experience with technical welding certification.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Qualified welder with experience in 4+ welding procedures.
  • Skilled Journeyman Welder/Pipefitter.
  • Proficient in pipefitting, welding, and fabrication.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and results-driven.
