Overview

Re:Build is focused on revitalizing America's manufacturing base and creating meaningful jobs. They are seeking an experienced Journey-Level Welder with a strong background in structural, pipe, and fabrication welding to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural, pipe, and fabrication welding using MIG, TIG, FCAW, and SMAW processes.
  • Work from engineer-issued blueprints, weld symbols, fabrication drawings, and job specifications.
  • Perform layout, fit-up, and tack welding on pipe, tube, and structural materials.
  • Set up and operate welding machines, fixtures, and fabrication tools.
  • Conduct visual weld inspections and identify defects before work leaves the shop.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment in accordance with OSHA, 5S, and company safety procedures.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions.
  • Identify and report unsafe acts or conditions immediately.
  • Work as a member of a cohesive team, mentoring less experienced members.
  • Display a high level of craftsmanship and strong work ethic in all tasks.

Requirements

  • Completed apprenticeship or recognized welding program, or a minimum of 10-15 years of consistent hands-on welding experience.
  • Proficiency in multiple welding processes including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and SMAW.
  • 6G pipe welder certification is a strong plus.
  • Strong blueprint reading skills and ability to interpret weld symbols and fabrication drawings.
  • Experience with stainless steel, pressure pipe, or specialty materials is advantageous.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy required.
  • Communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Must be physically able to lift heavy objects, work from heights, and operate in a shop fabrication environment.

  • Regular full-time employee, Monday through Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm.

What you'll be running
