The Sr. Fabrication Specialist is responsible for fabricating orthoses and prostheses, ensuring maximum fit and function while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication and repair of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices according to company standards.
• Perform ordering, receiving, and other inventory tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
• Train new employees.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of related experience, or 6 years of experience in O&P environments without a diploma, or a technical degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics and 7 years of related experience.
• Substantial understanding of fabrication and repair of prostheses and orthoses.
• Ability to independently complete tasks from start to finish with different types of componentry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze root causes.
• Effective organizational, time management, and planning skills.
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
