Responsibilities

  • Use specified welding equipment to assist and support manufacturing operations of parts and assemblies.
  • Perform own work and provide assistance to others as directed.
  • Conduct welding, cutting, brazing, hardfacing, or tacking as required.
  • Interpret and understand work instructions, including prints and quality manual procedures.
  • Review quality of work against standards, read blueprints and drawings, and use precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform manufacturing math calculations and use specialized lifting equipment.
  • Conduct post-work inspection of work.
  • Follow safety procedures diligently during the welding assembly process.

Requirements

  • Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in welding.
  • Three years of experience and certification in welding is preferred.
  • Ability to operate overhead crane and hand tools such as grinders and hammers.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competence in the use of computers.

Additional Information

  • Work shift is Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:00am.
  • Overtime on weekends is required based on business needs.
