Overview

Engineered Products is a privately held company with over 70 years of experience in maximizing space efficiency and redefining material handling and storage solutions. The Welder II position involves independently fabricating and assembling structural steel components for industrial racking and storage systems, performing complex MIG welding and ensuring high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Independently fabricate and assemble structural steel components used in industrial racking and storage systems.
  • Perform complex MIG welding on components such as uprights, beams, and braces.
  • Interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
  • Troubleshoot fit-up and equipment issues.
  • Support less-experienced welders and contribute to process improvements.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Experience welding structural steel.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and gauges.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Experience welding pallet racking or material handling equipment is preferred.
  • Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is a plus.

  • Location: Easley, SC
  • Work environment is based on the shop floor within a manufacturing environment.
  • Position requires extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs.
