The Core Standard Components team focuses on foundational components shared across product lines, ensuring reliable performance and driving standardization.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for engineering execution of technical projects meeting internal and client requirements.
• Ensure product compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
• Lead design of new core standard components, including concept development and qualification test fixture design.
• Maintain existing core standard components by simplifying designs and improving manufacturability.
• Oversee qualification testing of core standard components to meet requirements.
• Conduct design reviews for core standard components.
• Write technical documentation including test procedures and engineering reports.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to supply chain, manufacturing, and project management.
• Support field personnel and customers.
• Ensure all work is conducted safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• May supervise, train, and guide subordinate personnel.

Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Thorough understanding of machining, manufacturing, and hydraulic drawings.
• Thorough understanding of classical stress calculations.
• Understanding of API 6A and API 17D.
• Experience with valves, seals, fasteners, small bore tubing, or chokes.
• Strong organization skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Candidates must be able to legally work in the US.
