Job Description

Overview

Pioneer Roofing Company is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Installer to join our crew in Hollywood, FL. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience installing architectural and commercial roofing sheet metal assemblies, works well with a crew, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.

Responsibilities

  • Install architectural sheet metal assemblies including flashing, counter flashing, coping cap, wall panels, roof panels, gutters, downspouts, and scuppers
  • Perform layouts — measure, mark, and align sheet metal components on-site
  • Maneuver, fasten, and anchor large sheet metal parts securely
  • Fabricate or alter parts on-site as needed to meet field conditions
  • Communicate effectively with crew members, foreman, and project manager
  • Maintain neat, orderly project sites per safety and housekeeping standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sheet metal installation experience in a commercial roofing environment
  • Roofing-specific sheet metal experience is required
  • Ability to read and interpret project drawings and installation specs
  • Comfortable working at heights — must be able to climb ladders up to 60 ft
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs or more regularly
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Minimum 18 years of age
