Job Description

Overview

Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Welder-Fabricator in Youngstown, OH, to execute high-quality MIG welds on mild and stainless steel, ensuring precise fabrication of metal parts and structures according to engineered drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-quality MIG welds on mild and stainless steel using spray transfer, tack, and stud welding techniques.
  • Interpret shop prints and complex engineered drawings to determine weld specifications.
  • Set up, cope, fit, align, and square components while performing torch cutting and basic fitting.
  • Verify dimensions and weld quality, repairing nonconforming welds as necessary.
  • Grind and finish surfaces to meet specifications.
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Notify the Lead Person or Inspector when assemblies are ready for inspection.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of welding experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • 2+ years operating fabrication and material handling equipment.
  • 2+ years using squares, clamps, fillet gauges, and angle grinders.
  • Strong tape-measure and blueprint-reading ability.
  • Math skills to convert decimals to fractions.
  • 2+ years working within Quality Assurance Procedures (QAPs).
  • 1G and 3G welding certifications highly preferred.
  • Forklift certification preferred with 2+ years forklift operating experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

What you'll be running
