Overview

This position is for a Sheet Metal Worker Supervisor at the UNICOR metal factory within a Bureau of Prisons federal correctional facility. The role involves training and directing an inmate work crew while ensuring the security of the institution.

Responsibilities

• Train, motivate, and direct an inmate work crew in various metalworking operations.
• Oversee shearing, stamping, piercing, notching, lay-out, benching, forming, assembling, welding, and packing operations.
• Maintain security of the institution as a primary responsibility.
