Overview

We are looking for a fabricator that can work with all kinds of steel and shows competency with various tools. The role involves welding on construction sites and repairing equipment in the shop.

Responsibilities

  • Weld on construction sites and inside a shop.
  • Work alone most days.
  • Repair equipment such as forklifts, trailers, axles, and small gas engines.
  • Perform maintenance work on diesel vehicles, including brakes.

Requirements

  • Competency with cutting torches, grinders, metal bandsaw, drill, press, and mag drill.
  • Ability to weld using MIG, stick, TIG, and aluminum.
  • Must pass a drug background test and a criminal background test.

What you'll be running

TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
