What We’re Looking For • Experience: Minimum [2–5+] years of professional welding and fabrication experience.

• Certifications: ability to pass a hands-on welding test on-site.

• Skills: blueprint reading skills, expertise in precision measurement, and material preparation.

• Work Ethic: attention to detail, reliability, and a team-player attitude.

• Physical Ability: Able to lift up to [50] lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in shop or field environments.

salary: $15 - $16 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Welding Operations: Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Cored welding according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.

• Blueprint Reading & Layout: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and weld symbols to plan the layout, assembly, and welding sequence.

• Material Preparation: Cut, grind, clean, and fit metal components using plasma cutters, oxy-fuel torches, angle grinders, and band saws.

• Quality Assurance & Inspection: Inspect completed welds for flaws, cracks, porosity, or distortion using visual inspection, gauges, or testing equipment.

• Equipment Maintenance: Set up, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on welding machines, gas regulators, torches, and auxiliary tools.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA, AWS, and company safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE and maintaining a clean work area.
