CTR Group is seeking Pipefitters for a Shipyard in the Marinette, WI area. Several Positions Available! Former or Recent Navy, especially Hull Technicians ideal! PAY RATE: $32 per Hour Plus $150 Per Diem for Non-Local Candidates! What We Offer:Weekly Pay – you receive a paycheck every week Comprehensive Benefits Package Safety First! SUMMARY:The Pipefitter will be performing the following techniques:Silver BrazeCuNi Pipe to Bronze Sleeve – Vertical Flow, Horizontal FlowCuNi Pipe to Carbon Steel Sleeve – Vertical Flow, Horizontal FlowCopper Coupling to Copper Pipe – Vertical Flow, Horizontal Flow*This test will be done in a semi-restricted booth. Pipe length is typically 4” - 6” to allow for pull testing. REQUIREMENTS:Must have 2 years minimum in shipbuilding, or 5 years minimum of industrial experience in pipefittingCapability to read installation drawingsMust be able to use various mechanical hand toolsMust be able to use a torch for cutting and brazingMust be able to pull 1 1⁄2” and larger hoses to systems for testingMust be able to fit in small/tight spacesMust abide by all organizational policies and proceduresReport any deficiencies of piping system that cannot be corrected to supervision CTR Group operates in the staffing and recruitment industry, Nationwide for over 35 years.
