Overview

The Toro Company is seeking a Welder for the 3rd shift, responsible for welding components used to build Toro equipment. The position offers competitive pay and a range of benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate parts by manual and robotic welding, cutting and hard coating processes.
  • Operate wire, stick, carbon arc, and gas welding/cutting equipment.
  • Weld parts to print and process specifications.
  • Responsible for own set-ups and for inspecting own parts.
  • Follow safety rules and produce quality workmanship.
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure good housekeeping in the work area.
  • Complete all associated paperwork and recordkeeping as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of welding experience.
  • Core skills training in basic shop math, measuring tools, and blueprint reading or demonstrated equivalent knowledge.
  • Knowledge in machine shop practices and the use of respective inspection instruments.
  • Wire Feed Welding training or demonstrated equivalent knowledge.

  • Typical starting pay, $33.10/hr. plus $3.50 shift differential.
