Overview

LISI AEROSPACE is a leading company in the aerospace value chain, specializing in high-tech metal components for aircraft safety and performance. The Maintenance Mechanic III role involves diagnosing and repairing precision machinery to ensure optimal operation.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, disassemble, rebuild, and align precision machine tools and equipment.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery and physical structures.
  • Utilize work orders to indicate necessary maintenance repairs.
  • Follow 5S department procedures for cleanliness and organization.
  • Attend all required job-related training.
  • Rebuild complex machinery by removing and reinstalling components.
  • Clear spills and dispose of materials according to safety policies.
  • Survey and clean the Oil Containment yard and air compressor areas.
  • Use forklifts to move equipment and materials.
  • Perform functional tests on machines to determine malfunctions.
  • Ensure rebuilt machines comply with functional requirements.
  • Weld within company safety guidelines.
  • Assist team members with breakdowns and equipment servicing.
  • Service the Coopermatic filtration systems.
  • Determine methods for machine tear down, rework, and assembly.
  • Modify existing machinery to facilitate new production techniques.
  • Utilize maintenance shop lathes and mills.
  • Comply with safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED; certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related manufacturing or construction experience.
  • Advanced hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturers' drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems for equipment repair.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely.

Additional Information

  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday (4:00am - 2:30pm) and OT as needed.
