Overview

Interstate Assembly Systems is seeking experienced Welders and/or Fabricators for their Surprise, Arizona location. The role involves the fabrication and assembly of pre-cut steel or aluminum components, emphasizing safety and cleanliness while working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform wire feed carbon steel horizontal welding, with some vertical welds required.
  • Handle material by moving steel or aluminum onto fixtures and jigs.
  • Fabricate according to print and seek clarification when necessary to meet customer expectations.
  • Adhere to administrative policies including logging time and keeping files updated.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform physical work.
  • High school degree or G.E.D.
  • Ability to use and understand basic tools such as tape measure and prints/drawings.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Punctuality.
  • Willing and able to learn.
