The Advanced Fabricator role involves fabricating orthoses and prostheses to ensure optimal fit, function, and aesthetics while staying updated on new techniques and materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication and repair of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices according to company quality and quantity standards.
• Perform ordering, receiving, and other inventory tasks as assigned.
• Maintain 5s to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years’ experience, or 4 years’ experience in O&P environments without a diploma/GED, or a technical degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics with 2 years’ related experience.
• Substantial understanding of fabricating and repairing prostheses and orthoses according to specifications.
• Ability to independently complete General O&P devices from start to finish with various componentry.
• Mechanical ability and hand-eye coordination to use laboratory tools safely and effectively.
• Effective organizational, time management, and planning skills.
• Good interpersonal and verbal skills for communication.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
