Overview

Champion Home Builders Inc. is seeking to hire a Maintenance Worker for their Mansfield, Texas plant. The company has been a leader in the manufactured housing industry and offers a variety of factory-built solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
  • Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Schedules maintenance to avoid hindering the production team.
  • Coordinates repairs in a timely manner to assist the production team.
  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring.
  • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related equipment.
  • Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment.
  • May perform non-maintenance duties on a temporary basis.

Requirements

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
