Overview

True Anomaly is seeking an Apprentice Technician to support spacecraft production, mechanical assembly, integration, and testing. This entry-level role is designed for individuals eager to learn through hands-on training and mentorship in the field of space technology.

Responsibilities

  • Support the assembly and integration of spacecraft structures and components.
  • Perform basic mechanical tasks such as fastening, torquing, and hardware installation.
  • Assist with spacecraft and component test setup and execution.
  • Learn to safely use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Support hardware movement, material handling, and shop organization.
  • Follow safety and quality requirements and document completed work.
  • Develop skills across mechanical production and spacecraft integration.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0–1 year of relevant hands-on experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Comfort working with hand tools and measuring equipment.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to take on new responsibilities.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and work in constrained spaces.
