Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, maintain, and install piping systems.
  • Clean and maintain boilers.
  • Troubleshoot steam, air, and water systems.
  • Read and interpret drawings and schematics for piping systems.
  • Organize work area and maintain neat and proper records.
  • Analyze data and make appropriate judgments.
  • Reference, support, and utilize appropriate GOPs and UOPs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Must be able to work all three shift schedules.
  • Completed an approved 4 year piping/plumbing apprenticeship.
  • Minimum of four years experience as a journeyman pipefitter/plumber or ten years pipefitting experience in an approved industrial environment.
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to respond appropriately in high stress situations.
  • Some post high school education is preferred.
  • Pipe and welding certification preferred.

  • This is a union position with a non-negotiable rate of $34.39.
