Overview

The Parts Puller / Material Handler at Jamco will provide parts to the Welders to keep their workflow consistent. This role involves reading built cards and blueprints, organizing parts, and operating forklifts and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

  • Read built cards and pull appropriate parts to deliver to the correct welding station.
  • Read blueprints to determine needed parts.
  • Routinely organize a cart based on the welding process.
  • Determine low parts inventory and communicate inventory shortage with Lead.
  • Operate forklift and overhead cranes to move parts within the work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Lead.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Forklift experience of 2-3 years.
  • Blueprint reading knowledge.
  • Manufacturing background of 2-3 years.
  • Must be able to work 10 hour days.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

  • Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday, Mandatory Saturdays as directed by business needs.
