Responsibilities

  • Operate fabrication machinery including press brakes, shears, and rollers to form and cut metal components according to specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine material requirements, dimensions, and fabrication methods.
  • Perform accurate measurement, layout, and marking of materials to ensure precision cutting and forming.
  • Use hand and power tools for cutting, grinding, drilling, and finishing metal parts to required tolerances.
  • Set up, adjust, and maintain fabrication equipment to support consistent, high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow, resolve production issues, and meet daily targets.
  • Inspect completed parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications, making adjustments as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures, use appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
