Job Description
Overview
You will serve as a Pipefitter Supervisor I in PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF, located in Garden Island, Australia, with full supervisory responsibility over work operations involving non-supervisory pipefitter mechanics.
Responsibilities
- Exercise full supervisory responsibility over work operations involving non-supervisory pipefitter mechanics.
- Plan sequence of work operations for subordinates.
- Coordinate availability of special tools, materials or equipment and assist with trade help required.
- Ensure that tools, equipment and materials are properly used, stored and maintained.
- Make recommendations concerning training requirements, skills, and qualifications of personnel.
- Carry out Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies and communicate support of these policies to subordinates.
- Supervise workers and plan work operations of greater scope and complexity related to the pipefitting trade.
