Position Title: MIG Welder Wage: $23.00 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm; 3:30pm-12:00am QPS Employment Group has a great MIG Welder position at a company in Belvidere, IL. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.  MIG Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Responsible for MIG welding wire racks together according to blueprints, instructions and specifications.  - Reading blueprints, templates, and instructions in order to weld accordingly MIG welding aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel wire racks together Ensuring welds are of good quality and aesthetically pleasing. - Loading and unloading product and welding equipment to and from workstation.  - Keep work area clean. MIG Welder Requirements: - Minimum of one year of previous MIG welding experience required.  - Must be able to pass MIG weld test prior to starting work. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints. - Must be able to read gauges, micrometers and calipers. - Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. frequently throughout the entire shift. - Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift.  - Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach frequently throughout the entire shift.
