Overview

Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America by combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing. The R&D Welding Technician role is central to ramping new welding capabilities, focusing on hands-on welding processes in a fast-moving R&D environment.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and weld qualification test articles and large structural assemblies.
  • Perform hand welding using both laser and arc processes.
  • Set up and execute orbital tube welding operations to specifications.
  • Operate and support robotic welding cells, including setup and troubleshooting.
  • Read and build to engineering drawings, weld symbols, and GD&T, maintaining build documentation.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with hand welding, both laser and arc processes.
  • Experience with orbital tube welding.
  • Experience operating robotic welding equipment.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, weld symbols, and GD&T.
  • Comfort operating in an ambiguous, first-of-a-kind R&D environment.
