Overview

At Parker Aerospace, we develop technologies and innovative solutions for the lifecycle of aircraft, including aftermarket support. The Assembly & Test Operator role on the 3rd shift involves routine assembling and testing in a team environment, contributing to the mission of enabling engineering breakthroughs for a better tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Hand deburr components.
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated according to the calibration schedule.
  • Produce and inspect assemblies for conformance to specifications.
  • Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
  • Record test results on data forms.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives.
  • Observe all safety rules and maintain a FOD-free work area.
  • May run automatic weld machine.
  • Perform other related responsibilities.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years assembly/test or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities.
  • Must demonstrate manual dexterity.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
  • Must demonstrate effective English verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
