Overview

As a Senior Maintenance Technician II, you will provide general maintenance support to the site facility in a safe and effective manner while being part of a dynamic team that celebrates creativity and fosters collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes of recurring problems.
- Run tubing and piping, and perform general maintenance including facility lighting, plumbing, and grounds.
- Replace or repair defective mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, gearboxes, motors, mixers, valves, and associated systems.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical systems, including motors, MCCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and control circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
- Comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, hot work, and other safety programs.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in maintenance shops and work areas.
- Follow all facility procedures and safe work practices by fully participating in the facility’s safety programs.
- Grease and lube the machines, perform diagnostics, and maintain broken equipment.
- Relocate power lines/supply to different buildings and decommission electrical panels.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation problems, perform new installations, and calibrate/tune process equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a plant environment.
- Strong tubing and piping abilities.
- Strong instrumentation, electrical and/or mechanical experience preferred.
- Experience working in a safety-conscious work environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical equipment and systems.
