Core & Main, based in St. Louis, is a leader in advancing reliable infrastructure with local service nationwide. The Welder I position involves welding various fittings to different sizes of pipe and welding joints, playing a vital role in completing customer projects.

Responsibilities

  • Weld various fittings to different sizes of pipe and welding joints.
  • Weld with manipulators, positioners, and free hand.
  • Read CAD or hand drawings to calculate and accurately measure, cut, fit-up, and align piping for welding.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of welding experience.
  • Certification in pressure pipe welding.
  • Ability to spot deficiencies and have excellent attention to detail.
