Overview

KODIAK is hiring Journey Level Millwrights and Riggers with recent industrial machinery setting experience for a project at a science and innovation campus in Wilmington, DE. This role involves rigging and setting cooling units, air handlers, and other equipment, providing steady first shift work for experienced construction professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Rig and set cooling units, air handlers, and various equipment of all sizes
  • Move and position industrial machinery safely with the crew
  • Install, align, and set equipment to spec
  • Follow all site safety rules and procedures

Requirements

  • Journey-level millwright experience
  • Recent industrial machinery setting experience
  • True rigging and machinery moving experience
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Rigging certifications preferred but not required
  • Ability to work 5 days and about 50 hours a week

Additional Information

  • Location: Wilmington, DE
  • Pay: Up to $40/hour (DOE)
  • Per Diem: $165/day, paid 7 days a week
  • Schedule: First shift, 5 days a week, about 50 hours
  • Duration: Temporary project work starting October 5, 2026 through mid-December 2026
