Overview

The Pipe Welder will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, and welding piping systems used in hydraulic applications. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine piping layouts
  • Fabricate piping from blueprints and coordinate tig welding operations
  • Install piping for hydraulic machines
  • Ensure quality procedures are met per engineering specifications
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times
  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Proven experience as a Pipe Welder in an industrial or commercial setting
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
  • Knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methods
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Welding certification
  • Experience with high-pressure or specialty piping systems
  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards and procedures
