Job Description

Overview

Bloom Energy is seeking a TIG Welder to fabricate high-precision components such as structural frames and heat exchangers using specialized materials. The role requires expertise in TIG welding techniques to ensure leak-tight seals for fuel cell systems.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate structural frames, sheet metal housings, heat exchangers, and gas distribution manifolds using TIG welding.
  • Weld thin-gauge stainless steels, nickel alloys, and aluminum with precise heat control.
  • Ensure welds pass strict non-destructive leak testing to prevent gas escape.
  • Utilize standard DC TIG and pulsed-TIG processes with precision jigs and assembly blueprints.

Requirements

  • High School education.
  • 2 years of experience in TIG welding.
  • Entry-level experience.
