Responsibilities

• Set up, equip, operate, and program machines.
• Determine production sequence and provide data feedback in the system.
• Manage tools and clean/deburr parts.
• Maintain manufacturing equipment and inspect drawings.
• Prepare and perform painting and workpiece inspection.
• Prepare, weld, and render welding assemblies.
• Conduct weld seam inspection and prototype testing.
• Perform OCAP/troubleshooting on assigned station.
• Participate in quality improvement and lean manufacturing/5s activities.
• Meet expected quality standards and guidelines.
• Achieve expected productivity levels in assigned area.
• Work in a cost-effective manner and follow TRUMPF procedures.
• Prioritize tasks according to importance and urgency.
• Comply with document procedures and work safety.
• Adopt a systematic work approach and understand potential sources of waste.
• Lead tasks and assignments for group and co-workers.
• Develop new ideas and suggestions for improvements.
• Prioritize workload and maintain a positive work attitude.

Requirements

• Minimum two years’ experience as a manufacturing operator.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronic field, or optics assembly is preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to use standard software packages (MS Office).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to wear a smock covering the entire body while working.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
