Overview

King Marine Canvas is seeking an experienced canvas and upholstery fabricator to support their team with an active production schedule. They are a family-owned custom canvas and upholstery shop with over 40 years of experience and a large customer base in the Greater Seattle / Puget Sound area.

Responsibilities

  • Fabrication, assembly, and installation of marine canvas tops, enclosures, covers, and upholstery.
  • Support other team members in the field and at the shop.
  • Organize workflow, prioritize orders, and meet customer needs and production deadlines.

Requirements

  • Professional canvas or upholstery experience is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and precise measurements are required.
  • Ability to use hand tools and operate power tools and light machines.
  • Professional experience with installation and on-site delivery is a plus.
  • Experience with building furniture or reupholstery is a plus.
  • Professional experience with creating custom patterns or templates is a plus.
  • Experience with garment alterations or tailoring is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Full-Time position, Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts with overtime opportunities available.
