Overview

Aerial Precast Concrete, LLC is seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator to join their team in South Florida. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in steel fabrication and be able to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication plans independently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical plans to accurately fabricate steel components.
• Measure, cut, fit, assemble, and fabricate steel materials according to project specifications.
• Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, drills, and other shop tools.
• Perform welding and metalworking tasks as required.
• Ensure fabricated components meet required dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Identify and report discrepancies in drawings or measurements before fabrication.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with supervisors and other team members to meet production deadlines.
• Perform additional fabrication-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous steel fabrication experience is REQUIRED.
• Must be able to read, understand, and work independently from blueprints and shop drawings.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication techniques, measurements, and layout.
• Experience using fabrication tools and equipment.
• Ability to accurately use measuring tapes, squares, levels, and other measuring instruments.
• Welding experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
