Overview

Fenagh Engineering and Testing is seeking a CWI/S1/S2 Inspector to perform inspections for the shop and field, including audits, inspecting structural steel fabrication and erection, and various welding inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Perform observation and inspection in the shop and field.
  • Collect MTRs for heat numbers and tracking.
  • Conduct VT on members in progress.
  • Perform high strength bolting inspections and tests.
  • Compile daily reports outlining inspections and reporting deficiencies.
  • Read and understand specific project plans and specifications.
  • Communicate with the project team regarding project requirements and inspection results.

Requirements

  • AWS CWI Certification.
  • S1 Structural Steel and Bolting Special Inspector certification.
  • S2 Structural Welding Special Inspector certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • General computer knowledge (Excel, Word, PDF).
  • Able to travel to various locations.
