Overview

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Blades Aircraft Technician A to join the Blades Repair team in Grand Prairie, TX. The role involves performing inspections, repairs, and assembly of helicopter blade components while ensuring quality and compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tear down, cleaning, inspection, repair, assembly, and closeout of components.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with assigned lead regarding schedules and priorities.
  • Understand methods and procedures for incoming inspections.
  • Utilize hand tools effectively for inspections and repairs.
  • Prepare and perform repair techniques for return to service of piece parts.
  • Assemble finished products and close out final paperwork for QA.
  • Ensure completed work complies with customer specifications and regulations.
  • Identify customer requirements and proactively support them.
  • Communicate issues early and seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Take ownership of roles and responsibilities, ensuring commitments are met.
  • Promote and apply agreed standards, reacting to deviations immediately.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent experience.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience with composite or fiberglass materials.
  • A&P License and trade school experience preferred.
  • FAA Airframe Certificate or equivalent preferred.
