Responsibilities

• Maintains the safe operation and maintenance of building facilities in areas such as electrical/wiring, mechanical/HVAC systems, plumbing/pipefitting, or Plant Operations/Stationary Engineer.
• Repairs and adjusts doors, windows, closures, panic devices, and locks.
• Patches holes, installs escutcheons, and repairs ceiling and floor tile as needed.
• Makes minor masonry and wood repairs.
• Installs pictures, coat hooks, and other wall hung furnishings and equipment as requested.
• Performs preventive maintenance activities, responds to customer complaints, and repairs equipment.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in building maintenance.
• Working knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, Plant operations, structural, or general carpentry.
• May require a valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Some positions may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist.
