Overview

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an experienced helicopter A&P mechanic for a temporary contract position in Grand Prairie, TX, as part of their Maintenance & Repair (MAR) team. The role involves performing inspections, repairs, and maintenance on aircraft components and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
  • Conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on various aircraft systems.
  • Participate in flight tests on aircraft and log work to be performed as required.
  • Interface with customers for delivery and prepare for delivery inspection.

Requirements

  • Minimum six (6) years of aviation maintenance experience, with some experience on helicopters.
  • Current FAA A&P license or ability to qualify for a Repairman Certificate.
  • Preferred experience with Safran Turbomeca engines.
  • General knowledge of standard practices and troubleshooting methods.

Additional Information

  • This is a temporary contract position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed.
  • Onsite work is required 90% of the time.
  • Candidates must be US Persons under ITAR definition.
