Job Description

Overview

ESC, a sister company of Empire, is seeking a Skilled Welder/Fabricator who takes pride in their work and values teamwork. The company offers a supportive environment for individuals who are dedicated to quality craftsmanship and personal growth.

Responsibilities

  • Reads and understands blueprints and fabrication drawings.
  • Measures, cuts, and prepares materials for welding and fabrication.
  • Performs welding on smaller projects while continuing to develop skills.
  • Uses hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Helps maintain equipment, tools, vehicles, and an organized work environment.
  • Works alongside teammates to complete quality projects safely and efficiently.
  • Takes initiative when something needs to get done.
  • Is willing to learn new equipment, including skid loaders and other heavy machinery.

Requirements

  • Basic welding and fabrication experience.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
  • U.S. work authorization.
  • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform physical tasks.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather and shop conditions, including heat, cold, and dust.
