Overview

Bombas y Soluciones LLC integrates pumping systems, frequency converters, control panels, and SCADA for the drinking water and wastewater infrastructure of Puerto Rico. They work with their own personnel on projects for the AAA, municipalities, UPR, and state and federal agencies.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans, isometrics, and specifications, and prepare the material list.
• Assemble, install, and dismantle suction and discharge lines, heads, valves, and flanged accessories from 4" to 12".
• Work with steel, ductile iron, HDPE, and PVC piping: flanged, grooved, threaded joints, and HDPE fusion.
• Install and dismantle pumps, valves, actuators, and industrial equipment alongside the brigade mechanic.
• Install pipe supports and anchors.
• Perform and document pressure tests; detect and correct leaks.
• Coordinate with the electrician and mechanic for pump, panel, and control installations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a pipe fitter or tubero in industrial piping of 4" or larger (water plants, pump stations, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or industrial construction), preferably three years or more.
• Mastery of flanged joints: alignment, gaskets, and bolt torque.
• Valid driver's license and availability to work in any region of the island.
• Physical condition for field work: outdoors, excavations, and confined spaces.
• No plumber's license required.
• Welding or cutting with oxy-acetylene, OSHA certification, plumber's license, and experience in AAA projects are valued.
