Overview

This National Guard position is for a Welder (T32) in Montgomery, AL, responsible for various welding duties using different processes and equipment as part of the AL CSMS 1.

Responsibilities

• Performs welding duties using electric, acetylene, and/or inert gas shielded welding processes.
• Uses templates, jigs, blueprints, and other guides to repair, modify, or fabricate metal items.
• Brazes dissimilar metals and flame cuts metal to size for fabrication.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and sketches, and adjusts equipment accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
