Overview

You will serve as a PIPEFITTER LEADER in the Detachment Yokosuka, Japan, Shop 086 of PSNS and IMF. ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, plans, technical manuals, work instructions, and other job-related information for piping systems.
• Install, repair, modify, and check piping systems and equipment such as pressure regulators and relief valves.
• Lead others in nuclear and non-nuclear installation, maintenance, services, removal, repair, modification, assembly, troubleshooting, calibration, and testing.
• Ensure necessary work documents, plans, blueprints, tools, and materials are available.
• Lead three or more mechanics, apprentices, helpers, and ship force in nuclear pipefitting operations.
